We are in quite some need for a destructive editor since the QT-port and thus the new version of Rezound is overdue now for about 2 years and Audacity only offers its clumsy portaudio approach. Jokosher could become the nice easy fast cutter and field recorder for our jack-environments. So thanks again and I look forward 0.11 ;-)

Well this is indeed good news
Thanks for hearing the requests of us humble Jackists – this will make Jokosher a very interesting new option among serious linux-audio users.
We are in quite some need for a destructive editor since the QT-port and thus the new version of Rezound is overdue now for about 2 years and Audacity only offers its clumsy portaudio approach.
Jokosher could become the nice easy fast cutter and field recorder for our jack-environments.
So thanks again and I look forward 0.11

Comment on Linux Hater's Perspective: Is Jokosher a Gnome app? by admin

Good point bob. I didn't realize that Ardour was written in GTK+. It doesn't look like a lot of other GTK+ apps because of all the custom widgets it has, and it certainly doesn't fit in with GNOME the way a lot of GTK+ programs do. This is more like what I meant.

Good point bob. I didn’t realize that Ardour was written in GTK+. So when a house mate pays their share, you can add the payment and the money owed column goes down. Like a person to person transfer.Next thing would be to email statements automatically, so can send the housemates a list of what needs paying for. Also support for recurring transactions - so the rent appears automatically every month.

Very nice.

Wish list:

A `settled up` option.
